The story is that on October 31, 1517, Martin Luther nailed his Ninety-Five Thesis to the door of the Wittenburg Castle Church. There is also some belief that Martin did not nail the thesis on the church door, rather, after he published it, the word simply spread. However, regardless of how it was presented - this document caused such a stir that it began a great split in the Catholic Church and began a new movement called the Protestant Church. This split and change is referred to as “The Protestant Reformation.” Martin’s Theses was a document that came against several doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church and the Pope.

The Fifth and Final Witness
The Witness of Moses
John 5:45-47 (NKJV)
45 Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses you — Moses, in whom you trust.
46 For if you believed Moses, (the author of the first five books of the Old Testament) you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me.
47 But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?”

Deliver, Delivered, Deliverance, Deliverer
No king is saved by the multitude of an army; A mighty man is not delivered by great strength. A horse is a vain hope for safety; Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength. Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy, To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waits for the LORD; He is our help and our shield.

Speaking the Truth in Love?
Ephesians 4:11–15 (NKJV) 11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ.

Hypocrisy vs. Heresy
The difference between hypocrisy and heresy is that hypocrisy is the claim or pretense of having beliefs, standards, qualities, behaviors, virtues, motivations, etc., which one does not actually have, while heresy is a doctrine held by a member of a religion at variance with established religious beliefs. It means a deliberate departure from the accepted doctrines of the church. It is intellectual and spiritual dissent from the beliefs of Christianity.

Celebrating the Power of God
The English word “power” appears 136 times in the New King James Version, but the original Greek it appears as three Greek words….
1. Power: dunamis: the ability and the potential to exert the power
2. Power: exousia: the authority and the right to exercise that power
3. Power: kratos: simply stands for the power, the might, force, strength, and even dominion.
Luke 24:49 (NKJV)
49 “Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.”
This is the “dunamis” power – meaning we have been given the ability to exert (exercise) this power.

Prayer is a Language
Prayer is a language that can be spoken in every language
▪ God hears and understands prayer in every language
▪ Every language has principles and rules that makes it proper and effective
▪ Jesus (the Son of God who was born of the virgin Mary, healed the sick, set the captives free, was crucified on a cross, buried, and rose from the dead) - He gave several principles and rules that makes prayer effective in ANY language – that’s why it can be said that prayer itself is a language spoken in any language.

Faith, Hope, and Love, are in a Relationship! - part 4
Nehemiah 8:10 (NLT)
10 And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!”

Faith, Hope, and Love, are in a Relationship! - part 3
Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV) 1 Now faith (that being “faith that works by love” Galatians 5:6) is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Faith is the substance (foundation) of our hope! In other words, without faith we will never have hope.

Faith, Hope, and Love, are in a Relationship! - part 2
1 Corinthians 13:1–3 (NKJV) 1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
The God kind of Faith cannot believe for anything outside of loving God and Loving its neighbor. If we are praying and believing for anything that would blaspheme God, or cause harm to someone else it’s not love, therefore it’s nothing.

“So you, too, must keep watch! For you don’t know what day your Lord is coming.

Why Not Choose?
Joshua 24:15 ...but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
The God-given ability and right to choose is so powerful, there is nothing that can overcome it. Yes, there are things that can challenge it, but nothing that can overwhelm it and make it impossible to choose.

Why Not Cast Out?
Mark 16:17 (NKJV) And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons;...
Notice, when Jesus told His disciples to go into all the world and preach the Gospel, the very first thing He said they would be doing will be casting out devils. Why?

Light - part 2
Everlasting Light and Glory
Isaiah 60:19–20 (NLT)
19 “No longer will you need the sun to shine by day, nor the moon to give its light by night, for the Lord your God will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.
20 Your sun will never set; your moon will not go down. For the Lord will be your everlasting light. Your days of mourning will come to an end.

Behind the Scenes
Even when it seems God is moving slow, or maybe it seems like He has completely left the scene... can we see “behind the scene?” Because “Behind The Scene” there may be more going on than on the front stage! Romans 8:28 (NLT) And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

Why Not Carry It All?
Matthew 11:28–30 (TPT) 28 “Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. 29 Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me. 30 For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear.”

Why Not Complain?
Philippians 2:14–16 (NLT) 14 Do everything without complaining and arguing, 15 so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. 16 Hold firmly to the word of life; then, on the day of Christ’s return, I will be proud that I did not run the race in vain and that my work was not useless.
