Part five of Christian Stewardship completes our series focusing on Christian Stewardship of Spiritual Growth. While we all must be reviewing the milk (the basics) of God's word regularly, it's important we are continually also learning the meat (deeper) teachings of God's Word. The best way to describe this is "discipleship." In order to do this in a busy world, we will need to prioritize our spiritual growth in our schedule. We also discuss many ways to do so through reading, listening to podcasts, and of course making church attendance a regular weekly event.

Many are aware of the world's ways of building financial stability (some ethical and some unethical), but God's system of finances is simple. It includes tithing, giving, and faith! Simply stated, but it takes confidence and trust in the One who established all things. The world's system is not wrong, and balance and wisdom must be applied, but we can only put our trust in God's faithfulness to supply all of our needs according to His riches and glory! In this message, we dive into God's system of finances and what that looked like in the Old Testament compared to what it looks like now!

Time, Talents, and Treasures. What do they all have in common? They all must be stewarded. We all must be reminded that God is the creator of everything in the universe. He owns it all and yet, He entrusts it to the faithful. We are managers, not owners. We reap what we sow, and we must trust and thank God for all things! Join us as we journey through Christian Stewardship!

In Part 2 of our series, we discuss the qualifications of one who is a steward. The Word says that God is looking for faithful stewards who will not just manage His gifts, but will multiply them to further the Kingdom of God! Today we look at what a steward isn't, in order to better understand what a good and pleasing steward is.
